Small Desk Stand (#1)
This is a small shelf for desktop use. It is about the height of a laptop's screen when open and a bit wider than the laptop overall. It's used to place some decorations, a pen cup, and other things for easy access and to make a workspace feel cozier. I used a design for the side based on a design for an antique bench I saw in a YouTube video by Rex Kreuger. I simplified the design into just 4 parts: the top, 2 legs, and a crossbar. There was no need for this small table to even have a crossbar for structural purposes, but it looks better with one. I glued everything together then added a few screws to hold it together. It's made from redwood and the finish is Cabot Australian Timber Oil because I was trying to use up the rest I have from my lanai projects.
